About the Journal

Focus and Scope

JPAS has been reviewing and assessing the practice of public administration at the local, regional, national and international levels where it is directed to managing development processes in developing countries. It gives special attention to both contemporary theory and practices of public administration including:

  1. new public management approach,
  2. good governance,
  3. collaborative management,
  4. public private partnership,
  5. new public services,
  6. public services innovation,
  7. open government.
  8. e-Government, smart city and digital public services.

Peer Review Process

We believe that peer review is the foundation for safeguarding the quality and integrity of scientific and scholarly research. This journal applies two blind reviewers based on their expertise.

Publication Frequency

JPAS publishes two times a year. Depend on accepted manuscript, JPAS will publish around January to June (Period 1) and July to December (Period 2).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

JPAS was established in 2016. In 2022, the journal had been granted as "SINTA (Science and Technology Index) Journal RANK 3" by The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI), No. 105/E/KPT/2022 (April 7, 2022).
